Inexpensive Christmas decorating ideas for kids?

I have three children ages 12, 7, and 18 months. Christmas is a celebration for us. Although, in addition to cookies, I've never really a craft for Christmas. I think it would be really nice to do crafts that always buy decorations. Does anyone know any idea that my children enjoy crafts, or how to make homemade ornaments?
